BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — An inmate who walked away from the Calhoun County Correctional Center has been caught.
Officials did not release any details about his capture.
Just before 5 a.m. Saturday, 43-year-old Edwin Lamarr Walker walked out of an emergency exit at the Calhoun County Correctional Center.
He was assigned to the non-secure area of the facility.
The kitchen manager realized there was an inmate worker unaccounted for at 5:09 a.m.
Walker is a black male, 6’3", 185 lbs with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a green jail uniform and a dark blue colored coat with silver reflectors.
Walker was serving a one year sentence for drug offenses.
