UPDATE: Homicide suspect found dead in Hillsdale County

A man wanted in connection to an early morning homicide in Hillsdale County has been found dead.

It all started at 2:35 a.m. Saturday when Hillsdale County Sheriff deputies received a call of a breaking and entering in progress at 9020 Abbott Road in Camden.

A man was found shot several times and unresponsive inside the home the home when deputies arrived.

The shooting victim is being identified as 23-year-old Eddie Coleman Heathcoe of Grand Bay, Alabama.

Deputies say a female, identified as 25-year-old Sadie Rae Miller, was at a home with Heathcoe when 25-year-old Joshua Daniel Miller arrived. An argument ensued, ending with Heathcoe shot several times.

Joshua Miller left the scene in a Black Mazda 5 before deputies arrived.

Deputies discovered firearms missing from the residence and say he may have been carrying an AR-15.

Joshua Miller possibly has ties to a militia survivalist group out of Fort Wayne, Indiana called "Roughneck."

Dispatchers issued a Be on the Lookout Bulletin (BOL) for Joshua Miller who was being considered armed and dangerous.

Hours later at 5:46 a.m., Hillsdale County Central Dispatch received a call from a residence in the 9000 block of Abbott Rd. stating they had just discovered a Black SUV on their property and a male driver was unresponsive inside.

Deputies later identified the male driver as Joshua Miller.

Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Michigan State Police, Reading Emergency and the Camden Fire Department.
