The Winged Heart Foundation received a lawnmower donation from an East Lansing man.
The foundation plans on having their service back up and running in a few weeks.

A theft from a local group that cuts lawns for the needy is asking for your help. Winged Heart Foundation serves the needy, veterans, and the elderly in Lansing. At this time of year, they provide a lawncare service, cutting the grass, taking care of weeds, etc.
Recently, they had over five lawnmowers stolen and are unable to service all of the homes in a timely manner.
If the grass gets too long at these residences, the city will charge the homeowner with a code violation.
