LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Fire inspectors are trying to figure out what sparked a large fire at a warehouse in Lansing's REO Town neighborhood late Saturday night.
Crews were there into the early hours Sunday morning putting out hot spots. The fire started just before 11 p.m. Saturday July, 8, at a Quality Dairy warehouse on Washington Avenue near the South Street intersection.
There is extensive damage to the front of the building, which is mainly used for storage. The building spans about two and half blocks, but firefighters tell FOX 47 News they were able to keep the flames contained to the front section so they don't believe the whole building is a loss.
No one was injured in that blaze. The cause is under investigation.
