The Eaton County Sheriff's Office has lifted the evacuation order at the Hi Way Haven mobile home park near Charlotte. Lansing Road is once again open in the area.

The Eaton County Sheriff's Office has ordered a precautionary evacuation of the Hi Way Haven mobile home park near Charlotte. A power line came down near a propane tank Wednesday morning. There has not been a fire or an explosion. Police simply don't want to take any chances until the power line is removed. Drivers are asked to avoid Lansing Road between Stewart Road and Kinsel Highway until the that happens.
