UPDATE: Driver was arrested for suspected OWI after flipping truck near Webberville

LEROY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Michigan State Police say the driver of a truck that blocked the highway near Webberville was arrested for suspected OWI.

A Goodwill truck closed the exit ramp to M-52 from eastbound I-96 in Leroy Township on Thursday morning.

Police said it blocked the road for an extended amount of time.

Fox 47 was on the scene around 9 a.m. and the truck was lifted to its side at 11:30.

Police say the driver of the truck was going too fast while turning onto M52 and flipped on it's side.

They told us that the driver, a 43-year-old woman, was arrested for suspected OWI.

She had minor injuries and is currently lodged in Ingham County Jail.

Police said the driver told them she was driving to Detroit.

The road was clear and the exit ramp back open by noon.
