An officer with the Lansing Police Department had to be taken to the hospital after being involved in an accident.
The Michigan State Police (MSP) are not releasing any names at this time.
The accident between the police cruiser and a pick-up truck happened at the intersection of South Martin King Jr. Boulevard and Ferley Street around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night.
Lansing police told FOX 47 that the officer's injuries were not serious, and that two men riding in the truck were not hurt.
MSP say that the driver was reportedly driving recklessly before the crash and they suspect he may have been driving under the influence. There was an arrest.
