Clinton County prosecutors have charged one of the drivers in an accident that killed 2 people and injured 4 others Sunday afternoon in Eagle Township.
Innocent Nzayikorera of Louisville, Kentucky was arraigned Wednesday on 2 counts of Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death.
Clinton County sheriff's deputies say the 19-year-old was driving a Dodge Caliber that ran a stop sign on Clark Road and collided with a Chevy Tahoe on Wright Road. Six people were in the Dodge.
Antoine Nkunzimana and Abdou Uwineza died. Nzayikorera and 3 other passengers were treated at Sparrow Hospital. Four people were in the Tahoe. They were treated for minor injuries.
Nzayikorera is due back in court on May 25.
