Officers say they were trying to pull over a driver on suspicion of drunk driving before they crashed into a home Friday night.
An Eaton County Sheriff's deputy tried to stop the driver just before 10:40 p.m.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the driver failed to stop, lost control, and drove through the stop sign at Glasgow and Deerfield in Lansing.
The car went through the living room of a home near the intersection.
He is in custody with non-life threatening injuries. No one in the home was inured.
The homeowner says she was sleeping on the couch and her daughter was sleeping up stairs when they heard the crash.
She said she woke up with dry wall falling on her and the car was about three feet away from her.
