A driver crashed their vehicle into a building at Northwest High School in Jackson County over the weekend.
A neighbor told FOX 47 the accident happened before noon Saturday. Police have confirmed it was about 10:45 in the morning.
The crash left a large hole in the building, and the front of the Chrysler 200 was badly damaged.
The driver, a 29-year-old male from Blackman Township, had non-life threatening injuries according to police. However, investigators believe it was an attempt at suicide, as the driver left a note behind with a loved one.
The car and the building sustained excessive damage.
Police are waiting on toxicology reports to determine if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
