The Lansing Board of Water and Light mobile app shows thousands of customers are dealing with power outages across Lansing and East Lansing.
Customers on the north side of Lansing and the west side of East Lansing are dealing with most of the outages.
There is a small patch of outages on the west side of Lansing. The BWL app shows that is near West Michigan Avenue and Creyts Road.
Outages are causing traffic issues across the area, so authorities advise treating all non-working traffic lights as four-way stops.
Outages were first reported around 8:30 a.m.
