A man was convicted on Tuesday, September 18, of robbing a gas station back in November.
A jury convicted Marlon D. Stephens of Jackson of armed robbery.
Stephens held up the Buddy's Gas Station on McDevitt Avenue in Jackson County's Summit Township.
The robbery happened on November 13 at 4:16 a.m.
Stephens came into the station, and said he was armed with a handgun.
Detectives ordered a search warrant on a residence in Jackson after seeing the surveillance footage from the crime scene. They obtained further residence through the check at the home and arrested Stephens.
He was charged with one count of armed robbery on Friday, November 17.
Stephens faces up to life in prison because he is a habitual offender.
A sentencing date has not been scheduled.
