LANSING, Mich. — UPDATE: Police have released the name of the man killed in a fatal crash that closed US-127 on Tuesday morning.
Brandon Charles Starkey-Ueberroth, 22, from Mason was thrown from his vehicle around 7:15 a.m. after it left the roadway and over-turned.
The cause remains under investigation.
No other cars were involved.
The rush hour crash closed the interchange for drivers trying to head south on US-127 from eastbound I-96.
The stretch of road closed just before 7:30 a.m. and wasn't open until hours later.
Deputies are asking anyone who might have witnessed the crash to contact them at 517-244-1888.
