GRAND LEDGE, Mich. — The city of Grand Ledge is telling residents that it is safe to go back to normal water use.

City officials announced on Wednesday, May 22 that an ongoing boil water advisory had been lifted.

Grand Ledge issued the alert on Monday after a water main break on South Clinton Street/M-100 had affected water pressure.

The city conducted water sample testings on Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21 with assistance from the Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy, formerly known as the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
