An autopsy on the body pulled from the Grand River in Lansing on Wednesday has been completed, although investigators are waiting on those results to determine cause of death.
At this point, they are not ruling out the possibility of suicide.
They have released that the body is of a 35-year-old Lansing man.
Lansing Police say a woman discovered the body in the river at Fulton Park, just west of Waverly Road and north of Jolly Road around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The passerby told dispatch there was a body halfway out of the river with a bag over its head.
Police are not releasing the name of that individual at this time. They also have not indicated how long the body was in the river.
They do not believe foul play was involved.
