The Ingham County Sheriff's Office tells us that one person was killed in the crash that closed I-96 at M-52.
Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the three-car crash. There were 2 people in each of the cars.
The passenger in 1 of them died at the scene. Two other people were taken to a hospital. There is no word on their injuries.
The name of the person killed will not be released until the family has been notified.
