There are around 30,000 people in Michigan with Parkinson's disease. Volunteers are helping raise money for them and their families with an "Underwater Treadmill Marathon."
Ingham County Outpatient Therapy is sponsoring the 24-hour event
People were asked to sign up for one-hour shifts and to donate at least $25 per half-hour.
The money will go to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life for patients.
