The ride-sharing company Uber is rolling out a monthly subscription service. It's called "Ride Pass" and it is available in 5 U.S. cities.
Users in Austin, Denver, Orlando, and Miami can get locked-in, discounted fares for about $15 a month. The service costs about $25 a month in Los Angeles. Uber's move comes 2 weeks after rival Lyft launched its own subscription service. Both Uber and Lyft are expected to go public in 2019.
