LANSING, Mich. — The UAW strike against General Motors could enter it's third week if negotiators don't strike a deal this weekend.

Temporary workers are still at the top of the unresolved issues and more layoffs could be on the table.

Reports say Wall Street is not feeling these affects.

Investors say "they aren't all that worried because they see the strike as short-term pain that will pay off with lower long-term employee costs."

Earlier this week GM gave striking UAW workers their health insurance back, which led some analysts to say that this is a sign we could be getting close to the end of the strike.

The Lansing area is home to two GM plants that employ about 4,000 UAW members.

The following businesses have started to offer discounts to UAW members and their families during the strike, according to Anthony:
Royal Scot Golf & Bowl
Sidebar East Lansing
Toarmina’s Pizza
The People’s Kitchen
