Two people are recovering in the hospital after a vehicle ran a stop sign and hit another car this morning.
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Zimmer and Linn Roads near Williamston.
A driver in a Subaru car ran a stop sign and hit 29-year-old Mario Allen driving a Ford pick-up truck.
Just after the cars collided, the Subaru caught on fire and was eventually engulfed in flames.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Allen’s dog named Chico, a black Doberman, was in the pick-up truck at the time of the crash and has not been found.
If you do find Chico, you’re asked to call 517-749-9447.
