Two men hospitalized after being shot in Lansing

LANSING, Mich. —  The Lansing Police Department is investigating a shooting on the city's north side.

Lansing police tell FOX 47 officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of North Seymour Avenue at 2:43 a.m. Wednesday.

After arriving on scene, officers found two men who were shot in a nearby backyard.

Lansing police say the men were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The shooting is not believed to be random and there is no threat to the public, police said.
