Two men have been formally charged in the death of a 24-year-old man who died from a heroin overdose in Jackson County more than a year ago.

52-year-old Christopher Fisher and 30-year-old William Fisher were arraigned on first-degree murder and delivering heroin causing death charges Monday.

The charges stem from the investigation into the June 2015 death of Collin Fisher.

At the arraignment hearing in Judge Daniel Goostrey's court, the Court denied bond for both men.

If convicted of the murder offense, they will serve mandatory life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole.

A preliminary examination is set for November 22, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. before District Court Judge Daniel Goostrey.
