Two men from Lansing are facing human trafficking charges in Calhoun County after being arrested earlier this month.
Alexander Murray, 34, and Kevin Nemeth, 39, were arraigned Friday on multiple charges, including human trafficking, according to WOOD TV.
The Battle Creek Police Department said on Jan. 4 authorities were tipped off about drugs and prostitution at an area hotel.
Murray was arrested on warrants from Arizona, but Nemeth fled the scene.
This led police as well as U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators to Lansing where authorities saved two human trafficking victims, according to a BCPD news release.
It’s unclear when and where Nemeth was arrested.
