We all know that giving birth to twins is rare. But having those twins welcome their own children into the world on the same day is pretty much unheard of.
That's exactly what happened to twin brothers Justin and Josh Thorington of Traverse City. While the childrens' due dates were weeks apart, Justin and Josh's wives gave birth on the same day just minutes apart.
Both couples say they were thrilled to have their kids share the birthday. New mom Alex Thorington said, "It was kind of destined to be... It was really nice too. I think it brought us closer together, especially Denise and I being there for each other and being like 'Hey, what's going on with you? How are you doing?' and I think it was a nice way to kind of connect us a little more too."
The new moms hope the children will be as close as their dads were as kids and now as adults.
