Thursday night in Ionia County, there was an accident along I-96 heading west near Morrison Lake Road.
It happened around 5:17 PM.
The Sheriff's office is reporting that a flat-bed semi-truck that was broken down on the side of the highway was getting some help from a driver of a white Ford pick up.
Then, a 40-year-old man from Zeeland driving a beer truck, crossed the fog line and hit the pick up truck pushing it into the semi.
The Zeeland man's truck then went over the guardrail into the ditch.
Both drivers of the other vehicles were able to get out of the way in time and only had minor injuries.
