The trial for a man accused of shooting and killing a woman in Jackson County will pick back up Wednesday morning.
20-year-old Anthony Gelia is charged with open murder, home invasion and felony firearms in the shooting death of 26-year-old Brittany Southwell.
Gelia faces up to life in prison if he is convicted.
His trial is set to resume Wednesday morning in Jackson County Circuit Court in Honorable John McBain's courtroom.
