Troopers are trying to figure out what caused a Trenton man to crash on U.S 127 in Jackson County's Rives Township just before 4 a.m Friday.
The Michigan State Police says the 34 year old man was heading south when he went off the highway and hit several trees north of Berry Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the man was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.
