MASON, Mich. — The first water circus is coming to Mason this week.
Cirque Italia is a traveling water circus from Italy.
They use a 35,000 gallon water stage and many artists magically performing through the wetness.
Their show, Aqua, premieres in Mason on Thursday.
"Our aim is to produce a luxurious atmosphere where water, technology, and preforming arts are mixed to create a one-of-a-kind show.," they said in a press release.
Some of the acts you'll see are contortionists, a laser man, the wheel of death, and "superhuman" talent moving in synchronicity with the water and the music.
One thing to keep in mind is that there will not be any live animal acts.
They will be in town doing performances through Sunday at the Ingham County Fairgrounds.
