On Monday in Ingham County, some drivers that were going too fast or failing to use a blinker and got pulled over, didn't all get tickets.
The Ingham Co. Sheriff's office put patrols on the pavement passing out 7 turkeys instead of tickets.
Turkeys were donated to the department to pass out to the community on Monday by retired Sheriff, Gene Wriggelsworth.
Two inmates that were released from jail on Monday also received a couple of turkeys to help them with their holiday and celebrate their release.
