Jackson Co. Sheriff's office is reporting a traffic stop that ended up in a drug bust.
Deputies Desnoyer and Hudson responded to Fry Drive for a suspicious situation report just before 11 p.m. Thursday night.
They located the vehicle in question driving in the area and initiated a traffic stop.
It was during that stop that the suspect, a 26-year-old woman, took off on foot causing a short foot pursuit.
She was caught soon after.
During the search of the vehicle, suspected heroin and marijuana were located. Police say they were personal use amounts and nothing significant.
The women was arrested for two felony warrants, operating under the influence of drugs, resisting arrest, and possession of heroin and marijuana.
She was taken to the hospital and while en route she began to overdose and was given Narcan.
She has since been cleared and is now at the jail on a variety of charges related to the fleeing and drug possession.
