Traffic stop leads to guns and drugs arrest

JACKSON, Mich. — Wednesday morning Michigan State Police Jackson Post stopped a vehicle on Biddle Street, near Blackstone for erratic driving.

An unlicensed 15-year-old was driving the car along with three other passengers.

During a search of the vehicle officers found two loaded handguns, and a small amount of marijuana.

The driver was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and placed at the Jackson youth home.

A 17-year-old male passenger was also arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

And an 18-year-old female passenger was arrested due to an unrelated warrant and held at the Jackson County Jail.
