Tournament tennis headed to Michigan

EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Tennis Center is holding the first Capital City Tennis Classic.

Tournament to be announced in East Lansing on Monday. (Source WILX)It's the first professional men's tennis tournament to be held in Michigan.

Players from around the world will compete for the $15,000 dollar prize.

East Lansing native and tennis hall of famer, Todd Martin says he's excited to see how the event and the players will develop.

The event is scheduled to begin in late November.
