WILLIAMSTON, Mich. (WSYM) - A stretch of Eastbound I-96 in Ingham County was shut down as crews responded to a four vehicle crash.
The crash happened around 200 yards after the Williamston Road exit, exit 117 around 8 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies say a female driver caused the four vehicle crash by rear ended vehicles in front of her. She suffered a broken leg.
An elderly couple were taken to a nearby hospital has a precaution.
The eastbound lanes of I-96 were closed for around an hour while the crash was cleaned up.
