Three people are in jail this morning, arrested during the break-in of a home in rural Ingham Township on Saturday.
The Ingham County Sheriff's Office says it happened at a home on North Meridian Road.
The 65-year-old homeowner was home alone at the time when the three suspects broke in. She wasn't hurt and was able to call 9-1-1.
Sheriff's deputies quickly responded and arrested a 27-year-old man, and two women ages 23 and 25.
They were not armed; their arraignment could be as soon as Monday.
No word yet on whether the three people arrested in the home invasion in Ingham Township are connected to the rash of home break-ins in Eaton County.
The sheriff's office says there have been several home invasions in Vermontville, Chester, and Kalamo Townships in broad daylight. The suspects broke in while the homeowners were gone.
The sheriff urges homeowners to lock their doors and report any suspicious activity. If you have any information, call the Eaton County Sheriff's Office.
