JACKSON, Mich. (WSYM) - Three animals were killed in a barn fire near Jackson Friday.
A barn caught fire on the 8300 block of Churchill Road north of Jackson around 4:00 p.m.
The homeowner tells FOX 47 News three goats, a mother and two babies, were killed in the blaze.
A nearby neighbor reported the fire to first responders.
Multiple fire departments worked together to put the fire out inside the 68-year-old barn, which is completely destroyed.
A vehicle parked inside was also destroyed in the fire.
The homeowner says fire officials are working to determine a cause of the fire.
