Thousands are running through downtown Lansing for the annual Fifth Third Capital City River Run.
More than 2,700 runners took off at 8 Sunday morning. There's a marathon, half-marathon, relay and a 5K. Each of the races start at Lansing Community College and take runners along Lansing's trails and roadways, ending at Adado Riverfront Parl.
Proceeds from the race benefit the Impression 5 Science Center and the Lansing Promise.
