LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Easter eggs were falling from the sky Saturday afternoon at the Cooley Law School Stadium in Lansing.

It was all part of the helicopter egg drop held before the Lansing Lugnuts game against the Lake County Captains.

A Magnum helicopter dropped Easter eggs in the outfield grass of Jackson Field.

There were areas for three different age groups to pick up eggs.

"I felt so awesome as management of fan engagement here,” said Mikaela Higgins of Lansing Lugnuts. “It’s my job to make sure everybody is engaged at the park, having a great time, and that it’s family oriented.”

There were roughly 3,000 people gathered at the stadium for the helicopter egg drop.
