MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WSYM) - Large crowds gathered Saturday in Meridian Township for a food truck rally.
Over 70 gourmet food trucks set up shop on Central Park Drive between the Meridian Mall and Meridian Township Municipal Complex.
Attendees were able to check out a wide selection of foods ranging from barbecue, crepes, donuts, tacos, pizzas, and more.
“I think this event shows that Meridian Township is a prime community and that we have prime events to offer,” said Deborah Gunthrie, Communications Director for Meridian Township.
The rally is part of Meridian Township’s 175th anniversary celebration and the annual Celebrate Meridian event.
The night ended with fireworks being lit off from Central Park South.
