Thieves got away with more than 500 pounds of fireworks last night.
They stole them from a train on it's way to Detroit.
Officials say the stolen fireworks are commercial grade.. and extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.
Federal authorities have recovered 31 of the 32 missing cases in a vacant lot on Detroit's southwest side.
A tip from a resident led investigators to the boxes.
Police don't think it's terror related, but they think the thieves may be trying to sell the fireworks for profit.
Detroit police and CSX officials are helping to investigate.
