The Jackson Symphony Orchestra and AARP Michigan are proud to announce its FREE Grandparents Day Celebration event. The event takes place on September 9, 2018 at Weatherwax Hall, 215 W. Michigan Ave. Jackson, MI 49203 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
JOIN US in downtown Jackson to spend an afternoon with your grandchildren as we celebrate the unique role of grandparents. This fun-filled afternoon has something for all ages! Quartet Felice will be your personal guide through various musical genres demonstrating string instrument techniques and music from the past 300 years. Participants of all ages will then join music teachers in creating their own instruments from common household items to take home and enjoy.
