The Clinton County Sheriff's Office is warning about a tax scam making the rounds.
In it the caller claims to be from the IRS and says you need to pay up for unpaid taxes, or you'll be thrown in jail.
The scammer asks you to pay by gift card.
The sheriff's office says if you get one of these calls hang up. And if you're not sure if you're being scammed call police.
