LANSING, Mich. — In recent years, Michigan’s Capital City has seen rapid growth and recognition for great independant craft beer.

Throughout the Lansing area, passionate and talented brewers are crafting a variety of tasty brews for every palate. As these local businesses gain recognition, they have started to participate in local tap takeovers or beer festivals throughout Michigan but never before have all of Lansing’s breweries gathered in one place to highlight the best that they have to offer.

The Grid Arcade & Bar in Old Town may be known for their retro games, but the craft bar has also come into its own as a place to discover unique beers from independant smaller breweries all over Michigan and the U.S. With 40 taps available, The Grid will be the location hosting this Brewery Showcase.

“Since we opened in the spring of 2017, we’ve gotten to know the amazing people in this industry and nearly all of Lansing’s local breweries. We want to show our support of their craft and passion” said Corey Montie, one-half of The Grid’s partner duo.

Throughout the week of January 14th-20th, brewers will be on-site at The Grid to meet patrons, share their stories, their beer and perhaps play a little head-to-head on one of The Grid’s classic arcades.

Participating breweries include: Lansing Brewing Company, Old Nation, Ellison, BAD Brewing, Looking Glass, Sanctuary, BrickHaven, Ozone, Dime’s and Eagle Monk.

Full event details can be found on the Facebook event page which will be available through all participating venues’ social media. https://www.facebook.com/events/270580136963924/
