A warning for MSUFCU cardholders. Some members have received a text message that is trying to get their MSUFCU cardholder information, including ATM PIN numbers.
The text message claims that members' cards are locked, and tells them to contact a specific phone number. The text does identify members' names, and the last four digits of their card number.
MSUFCU says they've reported the fraudulent number, and have confirmation that the number has been disconnected.
MSUFCU will NEVER ask for your card PIN over the phone or via text message. If you have any questions you can contact MSUFCU at 800-678-4968.
