Terrorist's life insurance

Posted

The Federal Government is trying to stop one of the San Bernardino terrorist's family from collecting on his life insurance.

Prosecutors have filed a lawsuit to get the money from two policies held by Syed Farook.

Farook and his wife died in a shootout with police after the December attack that left 14 people dead. Together, their two insurance policies are worth 275-thousand dollars.

The lawsuit says under federal law money from a terrorist act is subject to forfeiture.
