CHARLOTTE, Mich. — Tuesday was the first day for customers to return to a Charlotte restaurant after almost 80 people got sick after eating there.
Tequila's Mexican Grill was cleared by the Barry-Eaton District Health Department Monday.
It reopened its doors to customers Tuesday.
The investigation into the cause of the June 2019 outbreak is still ongoing.
The exact cause has not been determined. We did speak with one of the staff members there who says they did see a decent amount of customers today.
