Two teenagers were caught Monday morning after allegedly assaulting staff at a facility for troubled boys and then running away.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Lansing Post were sent to Highfields Onondaga on Old Plank Road around 1:30 a.m.
Authorities from several agencies were able to locate the 14-year-old boys at approximately 8 a.m on Onondaga Road north of Stimson Road, more than three miles from the facility.
The teens were taken to a medical facility for treatment related to exposure to the elements. Police say they will both be taken to their home counties for further judicial proceedings.
