JACKSON, Mich. — On March 8, a teenager was sent to a local hospital for a gunshot wound.
Jackson Police are reporting that they were flagged down by a car around 2:15 in the afternoon on Thursday.
The driver told the police that there was a 15-year-old boy in the car with a gunshot wound in his right leg.
The woman driving said that she saw the boy in the 1100 block of Woodbridge Street in Jackson.
The boy said the he was walking when a red car pulled up next to him and fired several gunshots at him.
Police say they believe the woman's story.
The injuries are non-life threatening and police are looking into what happened.
