Police are investigating two separate scenes on the city's east side believed to be connected to a shooting involving a 15 or 16-year-old boy.

Officers received a call Thursday evening on a shooting in the 9000 block of Chalmers near Promenade on Detroit's east side. Upon arrival, officers found the teen shot multiple times at a separate location on 9103 Chalmers. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, according to police on scene.

At the second scene, police located a vehicle believed to be connected to the teen's shooting. Officers are now investigating if whether the teen was in or around the vehicle during the shooting and drove himself to the second location where officers met him.
