A 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg on Monday in Jackson.
The shooting happened at about 3 p.m. near the intersection of Second and Biddle streets, said Jackson Police Chief Elmer Hitt.
The boy has been taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
Police say there are no suspects at this time.
