Lansing teenager is being charged as a adult in a homicide last month.
16-year-old Jquan Brinkley was already in custody on an unrelated charge when the prosecutor issued homicide and robbery charges in the death of Jeffrey Capers of Trenton.
Capers was found shot in a car on Chadburne Drive on the night of December 7th, 2014. He died of his injuries at the hospital. Another suspect is expected to be charged in this investigation, but police are not releasing any information about that person at this time.
